Brackley Morris will be performing at the Oxford Folk Festival on Saturday 11 April, and we’re looking forward to bringing our local tradition to a wider audience. We've been dancing in Oxford for hundreds of years so This location is a favorite.
The festival, is a well-established event that showcases folk music, dance, and culture across the city. It’s a good setting for Morris sides to perform, with a mix of visitors, locals, and other performers creating a lively atmosphere.
For us, this is exactly what the side exists to do, practise and give public performances of the Morris, especially the Brackley tradition . Events like this help keep the tradition visible and active, while also giving the side a chance to perform in a different setting.
